Broadlands Piranhas Update - Parent meeting, suit and cap ordering information
Good evening Piranhas families,
It's hard to believe that May is just around the corner, and that means swim season is almost here!
Parent Meeting
We would like to invite all families to join us virtually on Thursday, May 2 at 7:30 PM for a parent meeting. We will introduce our coaching staff, go over team policies and important dates and provide updated news on the upcoming season. We hope that everyone can join, but meeting materials will be distributed via email afterwards if you have a conflict. Stay tuned for a meeting link later this week.
Required gear for swim season
Here is a list of required gear you'll need to be ready for the upcoming swim season. We'll go over this in more detail during the parent meeting.

Suit and Cap Ordering
Families can order team suits and personalized caps through our partners at Metro Swim Shop using the link below. Suits are required for team swimmers but optional for minis swimmers.

ORDER CLOSE: May 12, 2024 (for personalized swim caps)
EST DELIVERY: Team portal orders will be shipped to home at standard shipping rates (this applies to suits only; caps will be distributed directly during swim practice by the Apparel committee).
SWIMSUITS: Swimsuits will be the same style as last year! Female suits are offered in two styles: the Drop Back offers more coverage and the Challenge back has a more open back style, popular with the older girls.
SWIM FITTING EVENT: A swim fitting event will be held on Saturday, May 11 at the Community Center from 12PM-3PM. You may try on and purchase swimsuits. Suit size charts for both male and female suits are attached to this email. Families can also email or call the store to get help with sizing.
CAPS Personalized caps are $32 for a set of 2 silicone caps. That is the only ordering option. For personalization, you can use your last name or first initial and last name.
ORDERING There are many ways to order. Families may order at our swimsuit fitting event on May 11, through the online portal, via phone, or at the storefront in Fairfax.
