Piranhas families,

Our first meet against the Brambleton Bettas was a resounding success, as we earned a 524–430 victory (full results here). The season is now in full swing, with plenty happening this week.

Highlights:

• Meet @ Stone Ridge on Wednesday. Signups close tonight at midnight
• Practices start at Southern Walk pool this week. Schedule
• Donut Thursday this week on the 18th at practice.
• Piranha Pals at 8:30a on Friday. RSVP
• Home meet on Saturday morning. Signups close Wednesday night at midnight.
• Team Photos scheduled for 8:30am, 2 July

Practice

This is our first week of practice moving time to the morning and location to Southern Walk Pool. Please see the schedule below:

Next Meet: Wednesday, June 17 at Stone Ridge

Our next meet will be this Wednesday evening at Stone Ridge. The meet theme is Superhero. Please remember to enter your swimmers by 11:59pm tonight. Swimmers may be entered into three individual events not counting relays and the 100M free for swimmers 13+. The 100 m free is an exhibition event, will not be scored for points, and will be limited to one heat per event. A detailed timeline, meet sheets, and parking/pool information for Stone Ridge will be sent out later this week once it is received from the host team.

Donut Thursday on Thursday, June 19

We know that waking up and getting to practice on a Thursday morning after a late Wednesday night meet can be tough, but what if there were donuts involved? Swimmers who come to practice on Thursday morning will get a donut afterwards.

Our first home meet will be at 7:30am this Saturday, June 20, at Southern Walk Pool. Please remember to enter your swimmers by 11:59pm on Wednesday night. Save the date! Our Piranhas team photo will take place on Thursday, July 2 at 8:30 am at Southern Walk. Please be early and ready with your team suit. Individual photos will follow the team photos until 11am.
