Message from the President

As we close out our final week of communications to the team, I want to take a moment to send a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers.

First, to the End-of-Year Party Committee (led by Becca Koontz & Kristin Burns) — you truly outdid yourselves. Last night’s party was such a wonderful event, and we heard from so many families about what a great time they had. Thank you for all the planning, effort, and care that went into making it such a special evening.

Second, we want to extend a sincere thank you to ALL of our volunteer committees and chairpersons for your hard work throughout this season. As Coach Neal noted, we could not do what we do without you. We know how much time, energy, and dedication goes into making the Piranhas swim team such an impactful and fun part of our kids’ summers, and we are truly grateful.

We also want to apologize — we mistakenly forgot to include our coveted Cone Awards for the volunteers who went above and beyond for the team. While every volunteer is deeply appreciated for all the time and energy they contribute to the Piranhas community, we would like to recognize the following individuals with a Cone Award:
